To celebrate her daughter’s fifth birthday, photographer Jaime C. Moore took portraits of Emma dressed as five historically revered women. They began working on the series after realizing how rarely young girls are encouraged to dress up as anything but princesses. It’s titled “Not Just a Girl.”
